| CODES.
ad remover. what it does: removes the leader ("header") at the top of your page. where to put it: website stats.
timestamp remover. what it does: removes "10:56 AM" (or any other time) from the bottom of your posts. where to put it: website stats.
remove eprops. what it does: removes the eprops on the bottom of your post. this also has the script to change the comment text in it, but for now it is just "add comments" (like mine.) you can change it if you like. [this code might not work if you get over 50 eprops, so if you get more than that, you might want to add the numbers 51 and up to the list. anyone who has used this code before should know what i'm getting at. if you need to clear things up, IM me for help.] where to put it: website stats.
display one entry. what it does: when people go to view your site, they can only view your most recent entry. the other entries are still there, but you can only view them in private. NOTE: it is important that you change YOURUSERNAME to your exact username, or it will not work. where to put it: website stats.
custom profile information. THIS IS NOT COMPLICATED, but there are many instructions. what it does: takes everything off of your profile module. TO CUSTOMIZE THE MODULE: on your public profile (click here for link) page, there is options to show or hide a certain peice of information. hide everything except for your interests section, and put all of your information inside of there. profile pics will still show, and if you want your screen name to show, you don't have to hide that. but everything else must be hidden. i am using this code, so if needed.. look at my page for an example. where to put it: custom header.
blogring scrollbar. what it does: puts a scrollbar in your blogrings section. you can customize the width and height if desired. if it doesn't work correctly, put it as one of your first codes in website stats. where to put it: website stats.
profile scrollbar. what it does: puts a scrollbar in your profile module. again, width and height are customizable. if it works incorrectly, put as one of the first codes in website stats. where to put: website stats.
remove navigation. what it does: removes the links at the top of the page, like "events, subscribe, xanga, join, sign in" etc. NOTE: if you have a layout from a layout site, you probably don't need to do this because the creator most likely already has. where to put it: custom header.
custom leftside module. what it does: adds another module to the left side under your profile module. NOTE: change 'title here' to the title of the module, and 'module content' to what you want inside of the module. but i have found a downside, as of Jan 21.. you cannot add breaks (in other words, you cannot hit the enter key or add "< BR >") into your module where to put it: the very top of website stats.
[the infamous] dropdown playlist. what it does: creates a music playlist of songs to choose from with play, pause, and stop options. there are 6 (numbered 0-5) spaces already given to add songs, and 6 spaces (also numbered 0-5) to put song URLs. when you exceed 6 to add to your list, just duplicate the form and change the number (example: when inserting the 7th song, change the number "5" to "6").. you'll see what i mean, as if most of you already don't know! where to put: depends. if you want this above your entries, put it in custom header. if you want it below them, put this code in website stats.
title bar changer: 4 different on refresh what it does: changes the title bar, "[yourusername]'s Xanga" to whatever you want it to say. BUT, you can write four different titles, and when you refresh the page, the title will change [: you can also add even more titles! when you paste this code, it gives directions inside on how to do add more titles. where to put it: custom header or website stats
free xanga tracker. [not xtracker] what it does: when you're in private, there will be an extra module on the lefthand side that tells you who has recently visited. you don't need to register anywhere, and you don't need to change anything, just paste and you're done [: where to put it: website stats
constant scrollbar for entries what it does: adds a scrollbar into all of your entries. you can edit the height and width of the scrollbars. there are two codes for this script. follow the next steps CAREFULLY. where it goes: the FIRST code goes at the bottom of your customheader. the SECOND code goes in your website stats, preferably near the top.. but it doesn't matter very much.
adding a picture to.. anything. what it does: people are asking how to add another picture to their profiles. well, this is for ANY place. you can put it on your myspace, your profile module, anywhere.
BUT, there are certain steps and not a code.
1) host the picture you want to use from your computer. sites you can host your pics at are photobucket.com, imageshack.us, or tinypic.com 2) these sites give you the code after upload. for photobucket and tinypic, the option you want to copy and paste will be the 'tag', and for imageshack, you want to use 'hotlink for websites'.
create a textbox what it does: creates the same text box i use. note, html is disabled. where to put it: add this to your entries. first, check the 'edit html' box when you make a post. paste the code below, and uncheck 'edit html'. hover over the box, and click it three times and input your text / type in it. if you want to make a new line, do not put in "< BR >", just simply press enter. its that easy! (:
